Day 1: From Cusco to Santa María – Classic Inka Jungle Adventure .

We depart at 6 a.m. heading towards Abra Málaga for an exhilarating bike descent through diverse landscapes. We reach HuamanMarca and then take a bus to Santa María for lunch. In the afternoon, there’s an optional white-water rafting adventure (+$30 USD) on the Vilcanota River. We spend the night at a mountain lodge with views of the Cusco jungle.

Day 2: Santa María to Santa Teresa – Classic Inka Jungle Adventure.

After breakfast, we trek along an Inca trail, crossing waterfalls and plantations. We arrive at the Cocalmayo hot springs to relax, then head to Santa Teresa for the night. There’s an opportunity to enjoy a ‘pisco sour’ in the town.

Day 3: From Santa Teresa to Aguas Calientes

We start the day with a zip-lining experience (+$30 USD), then have lunch at Hidroeléctrica before embarking on a 3-hour hike with stunning views. We arrive in Aguas Calientes, where we stay at a local hotel and have dinner to plan our visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

Day 4: From Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu

At 4 a.m., we ascend Machu Picchu via 1,500 steps. We explore the citadel with a guide for two hours, followed by free time for photos. Optionally, we can hike up Huayna Picchu or the Old Mountain (+$70 USD) for aerial views. We return to Aguas Calientes, explore the town, and take the train to Ollantaytambo to head back to Cusco.

Your adventure begins with a journey from Cusco to the starting point at Km 104, where you’ll start your trek

towards Wiñayhuayna. Along the way, you’ll discover stunning landscapes and Inca ruins before reaching the Sun

Gate, your first view of the majestic Machu Picchu. After exploring, you’ll descend to Aguas Calientes for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Wake up early for a guided tour of Machu Picchu, enjoying the serenity of the sunrise over the citadel. After a

comprehensive tour through its enigmatic corners, you’ll return to Cusco, carrying unforgettable memories of this

magical experience.

Note: Huayna Picchu Mountain is an optional hike within the Machu Picchu Citadel and does not include a guide.

Typically, the ascent is done independently after your tour of the Machu Picchu Citadel. If you prefer a guided
