Your Amazon birding adventure begins upon arrival at Puerto Maldonado Airport or the bus terminal, where our team will welcome you and transfer you to our main office for registration and a short orientation.
After organizing your belongings and leaving unnecessary luggage in our office, we will begin our journey into the Amazon wilderness.
Board a motorized boat and navigate along the Madre de Dios River, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, towering trees, and beautiful river landscapes. As we travel toward the Heath River, which forms part of the natural border between Peru and Bolivia, keep your binoculars ready for the first wildlife encounters.
