Day 1: Cusco to Paradise Lodge – Gateway to the Manu Cloud Forest -Wildlife Photography Birding Peru

Your adventure begins in Cusco, where we journey through stunning intermontane valleys with panoramic Andean views. Along the way, we’ll visit the ancient Lupaca Pre-Inca Cemetery and the charming town of Paucartambo.

Ascending to Ajanaco Pass (3,500m), the landscape shifts dramatically. Keep your camera ready to capture the Mountain Caracara, Shining Sunbeam, and Andean Cock-of-the-Rock. Today, we continue our descent to Port Atalaya, where we embark on a scenic boat ride along the Alto Madre de Dios River. Keep your lens focused for Black Skimmers, Orinoco Geese, and the elusive Capybara.

Arriving at Hummingbird Lodge, you’ll be surrounded by the symphony of the jungle. In the evening, join an optional walk to observe night-active creatures.Overnight: Hummingbird Lodge.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 3: Deeper Into Manu National Park – River Exploration Wildlife Photography Birding Peru

Day 6: Spectacular Birdwatching at Macaw & Tapir Clay Licks
