“Amazon Ayahuasca -teacher plant” and is the foundation of their traditional medicine. Ayahuasca is cooked together with the leaves of a bush called Chacruna. (Psychotria viridis) , giving a concoction or sacred drink of a psychoactive nature that is ingested in an indigenous ritual ceremony of reflection and cleansing.

has been used for more than 5,000 years by the shamans of the Amazon as a way to obtain the expansion of consciousness. The term Ayahuasca derives from the Quechua words “aya” which means dead and “huasca” which means rope or liana.
This translates as the rope of the dead or the liana of the dead, and is considered a drink used by initiates to communicate with the spirit world. Throughout the entire Amazon basin it receives different names depending on the region. In Ecuador it is called “natema”, in Brazil it is known as “jurema”, “chá” or “daime” and in Colombia as “yagué”. In the Peruvian jungle it is known as “Ayahuasca” and popularly called “purge” due to its emetic and cleansing effects. Amazon Ayahuasca Peru 4 days
Amazon Ayahuasca Peru – Among the plants used for initiation, those considered “master plants” stand out, which are particularly of two types. Those of a psychoactive nature, which directly induce us to modified states of consciousness by teaching through
their visions, such as tomapende (Brugmancia sp.) or Ayahuasca (Banisteriopsis caapi). The other master plants do not have psychoactive components but manifest intensely during dreams, such as Ushpawasha Sanango, Chiric Sanango, etc.
Day 01: Lima / Cusco / Puerto Maldonado / Lake Sandoval – Adventure -Amazon Ayahuasca
Peru Airport pickup and transfer to the office for registration and induction.
Leave heavy luggage at the offic
Transfer to the port and board a boat.
Along the journey, observe various bird species and mammals.
Stop for adventure activities like the Canopy Walkway and Zipline.
Proceed to the checkpoint to register for entry into Sandoval Lake Reserve.
Walk along a boarded road to the small port in the jungle.
Rowing canoe journey through a winding canyon to the lodge.
Afternoon exploration of Lake Sandoval in a rowing canoe.
Dinner at the lodge followed by a nocturnal walk to observe nocturnal species.
Rest in respective private rooms.
Day 2: Amazon Sandoval Lake – Exploring Flora and Fauna
Early morning exploration of Lake Sandoval in a rowing canoe to observe wildlife.
Breakfast followed by more wildlife observation opportunities.
Free time for a nap.
Afternoon exploration of the deep jungle, observing flora and fauna.
Return to the lodge for dinner.
Sunset visit to Lake Sandoval in a rowing canoe.
Return to the lodge to rest in private rooms.
Day 3: Amazon Exploring – Ayahuasca Session
- Early morning jungle walk to observe parrots, parakeets, and macaws.
- Breakfast followed by a rowing canoe journey to explore the mysterious jungle.
- Walk along trails observing ancient trees and diverse species.
- Return to the lodge for free time.
- Optional activities like artisanal fishing or an esoteric bath.
- Sunset visit to Lake Sandoval in a rowing canoe.
- Ayahuasca Ceremony session in the evening.
- Rest in respective private rooms.
Day 4: Amazon Sandoval / Puerto Maldonado / Airport Transfer
- Breakfast followed by packing and transfer to the lake port.
- Paddle canoe journey across the lake followed by a walk to the reserve entry point.
- Embark on a motor boat to return to Puerto Maldonado.
- Transfer to the office to collect luggage.
- Transfer to the airport for departure.
