- Stay hydrated
- Consume light meals rich in carbohydrates
- Avoid alcohol and smoking
- Drink coca leaf tea, a traditional remedy
- Consult your doctor about Diamox or similar medications

We recommend arriving in Lima or Cusco at least 48 hours before your tour. This buffer allows flexibility in case of
transportation disruptions, such as strikes or delays that may affect the tour schedule. Please bring your travel
insurance details (company and policy number) with you.
