DAY 1: Puerto Maldonado – Tambopata Infierno Native Community Port to Tambopata Jungle Life Tour .
Tambopata Jungle Life Tour -Your adventure begins with a warm reception by our skilled guide at the terminal or airport in Puerto Maldonado to the trips Amazon Nature .
To start, we’ll visit the local market, where you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the regional Amazonian products, observing and even tasting the flavors unique to this vibrant area.
Continuing our Amazonian journey, we’ll set off on an Amazonian safari. A vehicle will transport us along an abandoned road to the Native Hell Community. Here, we’ll board an outboard boat that will carry us up the Tambopata River.
Along the riverbanks, we’ll have the privilege of witnessing various species, from sunbathing turtles on fallen trees to capybaras and alligators basking on the beaches. Fishing birds and migratory birds may grace our view, and if luck smiles upon us, we might even catch a glimpse of the majestic jaguar, king of the jungle. Our river journey leads us to our lodge, nestled within the Tambopata National Reserve.
Upon your arrival, we extend a warm welcome with a traditional jungle beverage. Afterward, you’ll be settled into your private rooms for a comfortable stay in Amazon Nature.
Following lunch, it’s time to venture into the heart of the jungle. A guided jungle exploration awaits, serving as an introduction to this lush environment.
This initial hike offers the chance to traverse compact vegetation, learn about the uses and properties of medicinal plants, and encounter ancient Amazonian trees.
As we traverse, be on the lookout for fascinating wildlife, such as birds and monkeys that call this ecosystem home.
After dinner, a new adventure beckons – the search for caimans. As the night falls, we’ll embark on a boat ride along the river for approximately 30 minutes.

Day 2 :Tambopata Canopy Tower – Macaw Clay Lick and Tres Chimbadas Lake to Tambopata Jungle Life Tour .
Canopy Tower:
Following breakfast, an exhilarating activity awaits – the Canopy Tower experience. Recommended for those without vertigo concerns, we’ll begin with a 20-minute boat ride upstream.
From there, a jungle trek ensues, unveiling the Amazon’s awe-inspiring beauty in all its facets – towering trees, vibrant birds, intricate insects, and amphibians within their natural habitats.
The journey leads us to the remarkable Canopy Tower, a soaring structure standing at an impressive 40 meters in height.
This unique construction provides us with a vantage point to observe birds engaged in their aerial activities, which are otherwise difficult to discern from ground level. Furthermore, we’ll have the privilege to bask in the treetop views and relish an Amazonian sunset, with the horizon adorned by a resplendent red sun.
Macaw Clay Lick:
The Macaws, in an instinctual behavior, congregate at clay walls to consume soil substrates like clay or chalk.
This action aids in detoxifying their digestive systems after consuming toxin-containing foods. Additionally, it supplements their diet with essential mineral nutrients, thanks to the nutritional properties of the clay’s components, including Bentonite, Coal, and Calcium.

Tres Chimbadas Lake:

In the afternoon, post-lunch, we’ll venture into the heart of the jungle and navigate through one of the region’s largest bamboo forests.
This walk presents an opportunity to spot monkeys and diverse bird species. Upon arrival at a strategic viewpoint, we’ll be greeted by an impressive vista of the lake. This sets the stage for a catamaran ride around the lake, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the pristine waters.
As the day gives way to night, we’ll prepare for a truly exceptional experience – a nocturnal jungle walk.

DAY 3 : Anaconda Search – Piranhas Fishing .
Today’s adventure begins with an early rise to indulge in a delightful breakfast. Once energized, we’ll embark on an exciting journey that entails roughly four hours of jungle exploration, taking us through diverse types of forest ecosystems – from flooded areas to terra firme and beyond.
This extensive hike provides the perfect opportunity to search for a variety of captivating wildlife, including birds, monkeys, and other mammals that call this realm home. As we venture into the “Aguajal” palm forest, we’ll pause for a well-deserved lunch.
Following our nourishing meal, the quest for the elusive anaconda commences. This impressive serpent might reveal itself along the shore or amidst the water vegetation of this marshy terrain.
Our skilled guides will lead the way, unveiling the secrets of the Amazon’s intricate ecosystem.
Lunch awaits us back at the lodge, where we can replenish our energy and relish the flavors of the region.
A unique and traditional piranha fishing experience awaits us next. Guided by local expertise, we’ll seek out the perfect spot to put our skills to the test. Under the guidance of your experienced guide, you’ll receive all the necessary instructions and equipment for this endeavor.
The Amazon is home to over 20 piranha species, and in the Tres Chimbadas lake alone, four distinct species can be found. As we try our hand at catching these notorious fish, we’ll have the rare chance to examine their remarkable teeth – seven times sharper than a knife.

Day 4 : Amazon Nature – Back to Puerto Maldonado .
As the final day of our Amazon Nature adventure dawns, we commence with a hearty breakfast that energizes us for the day ahead. Our journey will now take us downstream on the Tambopata River, as we bid farewell to the lush surroundings that have enveloped us. Our boat, powered by an outboard motor, will be our conduit for this tranquil journey.
Our first stop of the day leads us to a native family, offering a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture. At their welcoming abode, we’ll interact with the members of this community, delving into their way of life, traditions, and history.
This encounter serves as a bridge between our world and theirs, providing a window into the daily lives of the indigenous people who call this region home.
Following our enlightening visit, we’ll return to the Tambopata Native Community of Hell, where two enriching activities await.
With this final exploration complete, we’ll make our way back to the city of Puerto Maldonado.
A private vehicle will facilitate our journey, allowing us to reflect on the experiences and memories we’ve gathered in the heart of the Amazon. From Puerto Maldonado, our journey will culminate as we transfer you to the airport or land terminal with ample time to spare, ensuring a smooth departure as you bid farewell to this unforgettable Amazon adventure.
