Sandoval Lake Eco Tambo Lodge -To get to the city of Puerto Maldonado you have to take a flight from Lima, either on commercial flights that leave daily or on a stopover from the city of Cusco, with a duration of 80 minutes. Pick up from the airport From the airport then transfer to our office in the city of Puerto Maldonado for approximately 15 minutes from there we will go to the main port to board a boat to the Lodge to sail below Madre de Dios for approximately 60 minutes.

Facilities and Rooms

The Lodge facilities are built with environmentally friendly criteria and always complying with the safety standards that the reserve allows us.
The Lodge has buildings: 15 of them are for private rooms and with a looby, bar, dining room, kitchen, pool and entrance or other common areas. The Lodge’s infrastructure is built naturally rustic using wood from the region, as well as the floors in the common areas and rooms are made of wood and the bathrooms are made of majolica.

Sandoval Lake  Eco Tambo:We have 30 rooms, a restaurant, lobby, bar and bungalow with their respective

hammocks that are completely protected by meshes (they prevent the entry of mosquitoes).

The rooms are individual and very spacious and comfortable and the walls that divide the rooms are built with

native wood, and have a ceiling giving privacy to each of them.

These are the rooms that we have for clients. 15 rooms between single, double, double and family are in the form of

cabins (bungalow), the side that has a view of the forest or gardens has terraces (where the hammocks are located)

or 2 large windows on each side always keeping them ventilated.

All rooms have their own private bathroom and water in the showers which is supplied by the Madre de Dios

River, previously clarified and crystallized
