But the excitement doesn’t stop there. We embark on an enchanting visit to the Island of the Monkeys, where you’ll be captivated by the antics of Capuchin, Black Monkeys, and White Monkeys. This encounter is merely a prelude to the enriching experience awaiting you.

Next, a cultural immersion like no other unfolds as we connect with a native family. Engage with these ancestral warriors and hunters, absorbing their customs and artistry. This personal encounter allows you to support their craftsmanship while gaining a profound understanding of their heritage.

Tour Day 2: Day 2: Sandoval Lake Expedition – A Symphony of Nature

After a delightful breakfast, immerse yourself in the captivating wonders of Sandoval Lake. Led by our expert naturalist, we set off from the port along the majestic Alto Madre de Dios River. Quick registration ensures a seamless adventure.

Our guided trek to Lake Sandoval, about 1.5 hours, unveils rainforest secrets with insightful stops. A graceful transition awaits at the lake’s edge. Glide through the enchanting zipzap canyon by canoe, entering the heart of Lake Sandoval.

Experience a living tapestry as vibrant flora and fauna unfold. Exotic birds grace the sky, monkeys frolic, and nature’s symphony serenades your senses. Witness the mesmerizing dance of reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids, along with the glide of turtles and the enigmatic black caiman.

A delicious jungle lunch known as Juanes rejuvenates us. Energized, we resume our canoe exploration, discovering hidden treasures along the waterways. Behold the prehistoric hoatzines, graceful cormorants, and anhingas, and perhaps the resilient Nutria del Rio family.

Twilight ushers in a new adventure: the caimaneo. A captivating boat tour spotlights the nocturnal alligators. Riverbanks transform into a shadowy theatre, illuminated by gleaming eyes. Witness white and dwarf alligators emerge, serenaded by nocturnal birds and enigmatic mammals.

Tour Day 3: Amazon Jungle Adventure: Canopy, Zipline, and Kayak

After a delightful breakfast, our day of Amazonian thrills begins. A short 20-minute boat ride takes us downstream to our action-packed adventure.

Canopy Walk Way: Embark on a forest walk (200 meters) leading to the majestic Canopy Tower. Rising 35 meters, it stands beneath the towering LUPUNA tree, an Amazon icon living for over 500 to 600 years. Marvel at birds and the natural beauty while your guide shares insights about local flora and fauna.

Zipline Excitement: The adrenaline surges as we transition from the Colgate Bridge to the heart-pounding shooting line. Our expert guide ensures your safety as you slide down a 190-meter-long line. Reach the other end where an assistant aids your journey across a small bridge, completing the loop.

Following these exhilarating activities, we return for a satisfying typical jungle lunch.

Kayaking Adventure: Refreshed and invigorated, the kayak adventure beckons. Launching from the hostel, we navigate the waters with kayaks, oars, and safety vests. Our accompanying boat leads the way, creating a safe environment for you to bask in the tranquility and bathe in the Madre de Dios River’s cooling waters.

Nighttime Jungle Exploration: As day transitions to night, our journey continues with a guided walk through the jungle. The moon’s glow illuminates your path as you uncover the mysteries of the rainforest after dark.

Tour 4 Day:

Parrot Clay Lick – Transfer Airport and Bus Station – Tour Amazon  .

An early start promises an extraordinary finale to your Amazon adventure. Rise at 4:30 a.m., as we embark on a boat journey to a truly enchanting destination: the Parrot Clay Lick.

Upon arrival, we position ourselves strategically at a respectful distance, eagerly awaiting the vibrant spectacle. Various species of parrots and, with luck, magnificent macaws make their graceful appearance. Marvel at the breathtaking blue-headed parrots, auroras, parakeets, and other intriguing bird species.

For approximately an hour, you’ll be captivated by this mesmerizing display, capturing memories through film and photographs. As the jungle awakens to the dawn’s embrace, the sight of these colorful avian inhabitants against the backdrop of a jungle sunrise is a sight to behold.

Around 7:00 a.m., our journey returns us to our lodge for a final breakfast, a delicious meal that bids farewell to the Amazon’s flavors. Afterward, we set our course back to the city of Puerto Maldonado, where your Amazon expedition concludes.
