The Sandoval Site Plan is an emerging tourist destination, but still retains its authentic charm and is not overcrowded. It receives around 9,000 visitors per year, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience.

At Lake Sandoval, you can encounter five species of monkeys, including the Brown Capuchin.

As the temperatures soften at dusk, life on the lake becomes more intense with its 90 species of bats, 40 of amphibians, 70 of large grasshoppers, and felines (jaguar, puma, ocelot, and margay).

The collection of fruits from the wild walnut tree by locals, their processing, packaging, and commercialization,

which is an important economic activity in the area, is another attraction of the lake.

Fishing is another allure. The Amazon is a paradise for sport fishermen, with its more than 6,500 species of fish,

including the impressive arapaima, which can reach up to 200 kg, with delicate flesh used in various culinary specialties
